The address you give will automatically be used as your invoice and delivery address. Shortly after placing your order, you will receive an email showing your order number and confirming details of your order. Please make a note of this number, as you will need it for any further communication. You will subsequently receive three other emails from ElectricalShop.Net indicating the progress of your order and payment.
We accept credit card payment. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are treated the same.
ElectricalShop.Net will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery estimates but cannot accept any liability whatsoever for failure to do so however arising. Failure to meet a delivery date where deliveries are by instalment shall not prejudice ElectricalShop.Net's right to make further deliveries by instalment under that contract.
No claim in respect of non-delivery of products will be considered unless notification is given via e-mail to ElectricalShop.Net within 5 days from expected delivery date.
We only deliver to certain addresses in the UK.
Back ordered items are not charged until they are ready to ship.
ElectricalShop.Net warrants that it will, at its option, replace products supplied by ElectricalShop.Net in which under proper use defects appear (excluding defects caused by normal wear and tear, accident, neglect or misuse), or repair the same, or refund or credit the purchase price thereof, subject to the claim being made in writing to ElectricalShop.Net within 12 months after despatch, or such other period as may be indicated by ElectricalShop.Net for specific products from time to time, providing that products or parts to which the claim relates are returned to ElectricalShop.Net within that period suitably packaged with all associated parts, accessories and literature and, where relevant, in accordance with any particular instructions which ElectricalShop.Net may have notified to the Customer at the date of sale.
Returned products together with all associated parts and literature must be accompanied by a proof of purchase such as a copy of your receipt in respect of the products and details of the nature of any claimed defect together with such further information as ElectricalShop.Net may at the time of sale have stipulated.
Any replaced products shall become the property of ElectricalShop.Net. Subject as expressly provided in these terms and conditions, and except where the products are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All transaction data is encrypted to Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128bit standards, using Thawte digital certificate technology.
Aggregate information about ElectricalShop.Net subscription lists (such as the total number of subscribers) may be discussed in ElectricalShop.Net publications, used to promote ElectricalShop.Net, or disclosed to sponsors or advertisers.
To receive an ElectricalShop.Net newsletter via email, you must give us your email address. Although we don't require subscribers to tell us their names, your email program or provider may include your name with your subscription request. If so, we'll record your name with your email address; the information helps ensure we don't confuse you with anyone else when sorting out subscription problems.
We use a company called WorldPay to handle your credit/debit card processing, their servers use secure 128-bit encryption. To process your payment, WorldPay collects information including your name, postal address, email address, and credit card details. Use of that information is governed by their privacy policy. top
The ElectricalShop.Net web site use 'cookies' to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option. Also we use HTTP redirection to better monitor usage and interest in specific items.
We may record information about queries submitted to the ElectricalShop.Net search facilities to better understand how people use our search features. As with other web accesses, this information generally cannot be associated with any particular user; in any case, query information is not disclosed to anyone outside the ElectricalShop.Net staff.
Aggregate information about the usage of ElectricalShop.Net’s main web server is not currently available to the public but will be in the near future.
The Customer must inspect the products as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery and shall within 5 working days of such delivery give notice to ElectricalShop.Net in detail of any defect in the products.
